John Jenkins Designs - 27th Regiment of Foot British Line Infantry Advancing from the Battle on Snowshoes military miniature collection. Military Collectible is limited to 500 pieces produced. Perfect toy soldier for any French and Indian military diorama. Hand crafted Toy Soldier collectible.
Military miniature is based on the Battle of Snowshoes from March 1758. The battle was between less than 500 total troops from both the British and French / Indian forces. The British made an initial small victory with an ambush by Robert Rogers and his rangers. The French and Indians eventually decisively defeated the British. Robert Roger and his remaining rangers escaped with the help of darkness after night approached.
