The Battle of the Little Bighorn, also known as Custer's Last Stand was between the 7th cavalry regiment and the Lakota-Northern Cheyenne. The Cheyenne were led by Sitting Bull and the 7th cavalry were led by General George Custer. The 7th cavalry was almost completely annihilated in 1876 near the Little Big Horn River. Custer was also killed in this battle.
